This position is offered in our client’s Environmental Technologies group within the Hardware Engineering division.
Our client’s goal is to make products without taking from the Earth. Getting there requires focus and innovation in three key areas: climate change, resources, and smarter chemistry. Our client’s Environmental Technologies group is seeking a candidate who will execute energy efficiency testing on development products and disassemble products for testing. You will be responsible for improving product development processes in the form of creating SOPs and automating routine tasks (e.g. energy analysis). Your work requires you to closely partner with Product Environmental Engineers/Program managers and Subject Matter Experts to support initiatives on energy efficiency, sustainable materials, design for environment, and phase-outs of hazardous substances.
Responsibilities:
+ Execute energy efficiency testing on development products and disassemble products for testing
+ Improving product development processes in the form of creating SOPs and automating routine tasks (e.g., energy analysis)
+ Closely partner with Product Environmental Engineers/Program managers and Subject Matter
+ Experts to support initiatives on energy efficiency, sustainable materials, design for environment, and phase-outs of hazardous substances
+ Performing product teardown and creating detail-oriented SOPs
Qualifications:
+ At least 1 year experience of hardware product-related energy efficiency testing (i.e Battery
+ Charging Systems, Energy Star)
+ Experience with performing product teardown and creating detail-oriented SOPs
+ Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
+ Experience with laboratory environment and familiar with good laboratory practice
+ Familiar with Excel, PC and comfortable learning new software tools
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail where precision and accuracy matter
+ Strong communication skills and thrives in both collaborative and independent work environments

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $83.00
