Energy Program Coordinator - CFMO Marietta

The Energy Program Coordinator functions in the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) –Energy Division, assisting the Project Manager and Energy Director with construction projects, audits, and commissioning at GAARNG sites across the State of Georgia.

 

Duties & responsibilities include:  Database entry of utility bills, energy tracking and reporting, energy awareness, monitoring of the advanced metering database and updating of the Energy SharePoint site.  This position interfaces with other agencies within the state, utility providers, local government, state government and contractors (e.g., GEFA; GA Power, etc.).

 

Agency Specific Qualifications and/or Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following:

  

Basic understanding of energy principles and fundamental concepts. Knowledge of regulatory materials guiding the implementation of energy management principles. Familiar with Energy Manager Handbook May 2016 (chapters 3,6,7,8,10,11)CFMO SOP dated 1Jul04, NGT 420-10 dated 11Jul03, NG Pam 420-10 dated18Jul03, NGR 415-5 dated 18Jul03 and NG Pam 415-5 31Jul03. Proficiency in the use and manipulation of databases. Proficiency with MS Office. Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.

Associate degree in communication, English, or public relations from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience related to area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Busi Support Analyst 1 (GSP130).
