Summary
Tetra Tech is recruiting experienced Energy Sector professionals to fill multiple positions to support projects for public sector and commercial clients. Applicants will be considered for part-time or full-time positions.
Responsibilities
Applicants should be mid- to senior-level experts with demonstrated work experience in one or more of the following subject matters:
Technical due-diligence, feasibility studies and implementation of transmission and distribution infrastructure projects. Power sector master planning, integrated resource and resilience planning, system modelling and analyses. Demand forecasting, renewable energy generation forecasting and system operations including scheduling and dispatch. Electric utility management, modernization and performance improvement. Management of donor funded power sector infrastructure programs and projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields. At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector covering one or more areas listed above. Experience managing energy projects funded by donors, developers and/or other commercial entities. Ability to build effective relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, and stakeholders. Strong oral and written communication skills. Professional level fluency in French and English (reading, writing and presentation skills).Preferred but not Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields. Prior experience working for electric utilities, national government, or international organization. Knowledge of FIDIC form of contracting.About Tetra Tech:
