Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking an Energy Storage Project Engineer. Summary: The Utility Scale Energy Storage team is looking for an innovative and dynamic Project Engineer who is passionate about renewable energy. In this position you will be heavily involved with battery augmentation projects from design to execution, to include exposure to cross functional teams across the organization. This person will have the critical responsibility of planning, designing, and executing multiple energy storage projects. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope, engineering oversight and consulting across cross functional teams to deliver a best-in-class product. The Energy Storage Project Engineer will be part of a growing team of experts who not only provide excellent data-driven inputs and analysis but are also customer service oriented with internal and external stakeholders. The Energy Storage Project Engineer will use utilize data from various internal and external sources to perform technical due diligence and propose storage & hybrid solutions to support our customers' evolving needs. As a support function, this person will work collaboratively across the organization to support design and commissioning. Responsibilities: * Performs detailed design engineering of major components for large scale energy storage augmentation projects * Supports projects from conception through execution, working closely with early-stage and project managers * Influences project teams in the engineering aspects of the technical work, including close collaboration with and oversight of external Engineers of Record * Design and/or operation of large-scale power generation or processing plants involving adherence to regulatory requirements while maximizing the performance and reliability of technically complex systems
