What Occupational Health contributes to Cardinal Health

Environmental Health & Safety manages programs to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments. This function conducts regular audits, responds to incidents and investigates root causes, and implements trainings and corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence of problems. This function also manages relationships with regulatory and community stakeholders.

Occupational Health works to prevent, investigate and treat workplace-related illnesses and injuries.  Occupational Health is responsible for providing first aid, evaluating an employee’s health and providing initial diagnosis on medical conditions, maintaining employee health records, as well as appraising the safety and health hazards in the work environment.

0-2 years of experience, requiredBachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, required
