Group/Division

KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.

Job Description

We are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer in the Central Engineering Group. The job requirement includes:

Design Printed Circuit Board (PCB) level subsystems that are part of an entire inspection or metrology system.Responsible for the complete design process from requirements specification, feasibility studies, cost and scheduling, to conducting various analysis (such as circuit, timing, thermal/cooling, electrical loads),Firmware development on FPGA/MCU/DSP.Conceptual and detailed design using design tools (OrCAD, AutoCAD), detailed drawings, design review presentations,Procurement of prototype parts, system integration, prototype testing, and handoff to manufacturing.Work with other engineering groups such as Optics Engineers, Systems Engineers and Manufacturing/Serving Engineers to ensure flawless integration and test at the subsystem and system level.Develop the required supporting documentation, such as assembly, test fixtures and procedures, and service manuals.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.Understand fundamentals of electrical design principles, analog and digital circuits, motion control, data acquisition, firmware.Proficient with electrical CAD software, OrCAD is preferred.Good English communication skills. Willing to travel worldwide.
