Department Summary:

The Aultman Foundation (TAF) team works closely with grateful patients, families, corporate representatives, community leaders, The Women’s Board of Aultman Hospital, and foundations in the Aultman service region inviting philanthropic gifts to advance care and services by the nonprofit hospital. TAF secures, documents, and acknowledges all gifts per compliant and legal requirements through grants, major gifts, community events, capital campaigns, and volunteer-led fundraising activities. Efforts are equally dedicated to demonstrating appreciation and stewardship of valued donors.

 

Position Summary:

The Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the annual donor engagement plan that supports the attraction and retention of donors along with the organizational mission and strategic development goals of The Aultman Foundation.

 

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education  Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience Previous experience in nonprofit fund development and donor engagement, event planning and communication skills, CRM experience

Skills:

Positive attitude, skills in human relations and diplomacy. Commitment to teamwork and supporting department priorities. Knowledge of charitable fundraising ethics and laws. Time management and organizational skills. Superior written and verbal communications are required. Possess a high-level command of grammar, spelling, editing, and sentence structure. Advanced customer service skills. Ability to work independently, efficiently, and successfully on multiple projects. Adaptability to changing work needs. Detailed oriented. Ability to think both critically and creatively. Computer skills required with demonstrated expertise using MS Word, Excel, Adobe document editing, and PowerPoint. CRM experience.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

Oversee the creation, content development, and distribution of donor engagement materials and campaigns for The Aultman Foundation including digital messages, print mailers, events, e-newsletters and donor thank you letters. Prepare and distribute grateful patient and donor impact testimonials through interviews and articles that highlight patients, services, donors, and TAF grants. Work in conjunction with the Women’s Board Executive Liaison to ensure cohesive donor engagement messaging for their events Serve as department liaison for corporate communications and media teams Works alongside team to create print and digital campaigns that are donor centric. Responsible for coordination of system-wide announcements to TAF’s constituents Coordinates website and social media updates and postings Utilize Donor Perfect, Give Cloud, Double the Donation, Constant Contact and other departmental software systems for donor engagement. Work in conjunction with Development Associate on donor engagement event messaging and planning Participate in department meetings, events and strategic discussions. Other duties as assigned. Working Conditions

.6 FTE, working 24 hours a week with some flexibility in scheduling required. Evening/Weekend hours may be required based on department event needs. Hybrid/WFH schedule opportunities available. Cross training for coverage of office areas as needed. Subject to interruptions and changing priorities.
