Responsibilities:
You will be part of the Data Governance team working on Data Strategy, Data Analytics, Data Quality, Data Privacy and Data Security
Support the Data Governance Team of Consultants in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design and participate in unit level and organization level initiatives with the objective of providing high quality and value adding consulting solutions to customers within the guidelines, policies and norms of Fractal.
Conduct secondary research on Data Governance, Data Management and Data Strategy related topics, which would help identify problem areas in order to assist in identifying the problem
Conduct secondary research to provide data points on effort estimation and proposal development
Conduct As-Is assessment of customer’s current state and prepare input and roadmap for next phase of the project
Understand solutions recommended and explore alternatives based on research (literature survey, information in public domains, vendor information), provide inputs in building POCs and seek reviews in order to assist in providing solution alternatives
Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and data challenges, and develop comprehensive data governance strategies aligned with their specific needs.
Support leadership in designing thought leadership in establishing data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks that ensure the effective management, privacy, and security of data assets.
Requirements:
Expertise in working with data and analytics with a data-oriented mindset to support data driven decision making
Basic understanding of data governance best practices, data quality management, data privacy regulations
Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and analytics technologies
Knowledge of SQL or any other database
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex data governance challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $130,000 - $210,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
