Engine Maintenance Technician
The Leasing Maintenance Technician 2 will perform maintenance on commercial aircraft engines, engine stands and perform engine preservations. The position will have an internal technician and inspector sign off authority on maintenance work. Employee may also perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the
ongoing needs of the organization.

Essential Job Duties:
1. Gain knowledge on GES quality procedures per the Repair Station & Quality (RSQM) Manual, including the FAA/EASA Part 145 regulations, requirements, and procedures
2. Act in accordance with and meet the requirements of the RSQM, other applicable regulations, and company policies
3. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers in the shop or field
4. Have a positive attitude, promote the business to internal and external customers, co-workers, or potential employees
5. Read, interpret, and understand OEM technical data, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives, and other specifications to determine the maintenance procedure, method of repairing and/or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
6. Understand and become familiar with aircraft maintenance manuals (AMM) for multiple aircraft and engine configurations
7. Effectively utilize Quantum Control and JETRAXX systems within six months
8. Approach assignments with the “can-do” spirit and positive attitude
9. Properly use torque wrenches, calibrated tools, and special tooling as required
10. Remove, install, and repair aircraft engines, parts, fan blades, engine mounts, and other items as required
11. Perform accessory inventories and other inspections
12. Put safety first and take safety seriously
Other Duties and Responsibilities
1. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
2. Perform other duties as assigned. (Assistance in other departments may be needed).
3. Weekend and holiday work may be required. Domestic and international travel may be necessary.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. Three to Five years of industry experience working as a technician on turbine engines or acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience
3. Ability to obtain technician and inspector signoff authority on work completed
4. FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate (A&P) a plus Leasing Maintenance 
5. Turbine engine maintenance experience on GE90, CF34, CFM56, LEAP, V2500, PW1000/1500G, PW2000/4000, RB211 engines a plus
6. Familiar with Adobe DC & Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
7. Read, write, and understand the English language
