Job Description

In the role of Engine Technical Leader, you will be responsible of leading the development of various systems and subsystem from a certain perimeter of the engine (air intake, exhaust, distribution, moving parts), your main activities including: 

Interpret and analyze technical documents in both French and English, ensuring clear understanding and actionable insights.Provide expertise in the automotive sector, with a particular focus on the development of thermal and hybrid engine components, including: air intake, exhaust, distribution, moving parts etc.Conduct and lead development activities for automotive components following the client processes, including:D2Q methodologiesDevelopment logic and validation methodsIncident management processesProduct and process modification workflows during series production

Exhibit strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms, particularly in English, for activities such as:

Meeting facilitation and leadershipWriting technical reports, summaries, and standard documentation (e.g., capitalized files, synthesis notes, and standards).Adapt quickly to agile workflows, ensuring effective collaboration and iterative development in cross-functional teams.

QualificationsExtensive experience in automotive engineering with a specialization in powertrain systems (thermal and hybrid).Strong leadership abilities to guide development teams and coordinate complex projects.Fluent in English, both oral and written, French is a plus.Ability to construct relevant synthesis for the impacted stakeholders. Know-how of PLM tools (NPDM, CatiaV6).
