Engine Test Quality Leader

The Pittsburgh Engine Test Cell Quality Manager will be responsible for key functional, business, and company objectives and report to the Global On Wing Support Quality Leader (Test Cell to be part of the OWS Network). In this role, you will solve complex issues affecting the business, executing the long-term business plan and driving quality excellence in the organization. You will work with the larger OWS team (including Global Quality), as well as a cross-functional team from other organizations. Manufacturing is key to our work at GE Aerospace. If you want a hands-on opportunity to advance flight for future generations, this is the team for you. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** **:** + Serve as the primary interface with regulatory agencies, specifically FAA and EASA. + Develop the new GE site’s Quality system to meet all regulatory and business requirements. + Create a “Culture of Quality,” where Quality is at the forefront of everyone’s mind. + Oversee and Perform internal audits locally and at remote locations. + Conduct and own the Quality training plan for all staff as required. + Work with the Business Leader and support team to maintain the GE Aerospace Flight Deck Management System. + Own the proactive quality framework for reducing quality risk at the shop. + Lead RCCA Execution for the shop facilitating best practice sharing with other GE Aerospace and OWS shops. **Minimum Requirements** : + Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of aviation industry experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of aviation industry experience). + 5+ years of experience working with aviation regulatory agencies. + 1+ year of experience with FAA FAR 145 procedures and processes. **Desired Characteristics** **:** + Qualified Auditor or Auditing experience. + Test Cell experience preferred but other MRO experience will be considered. + Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
