Join us and we can make a difference together. **Role Responsibilities:** + General design and drafting responsibilities based on layouts, sketches and drawings using CAD applications. + Ensure all engineering change workflows are followed. + Participate in Carrier Excellence activities, including standard work, Kaizen and VSM events. + Make contributions to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline. + Work with guidance on projects with short-term focus. **Role Purpose:** + Creation of designs and documentation for Commercial Unitary packaged rooftops & split systems and their major sub-section and related sub-assemblies. **Minimum Requirements:** + Candidate should have refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical background, including: + Background / hands-on experience working in an engineering design environment. + Ability for developing continuous improvement projects. + Capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience. + Ability to influence and drive change. + General knowledge of Bills of Materials and structure + Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities. + Skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams). + Follow-up and follow-through skills. + Knowledge of PTC’s Creo and Windchill applications + Experienced in Creo schematics and harness routing, harness drawing creation using harness smart tables. Ability to import hml flies into Creo schematic. + Experienced with Creo tubing modeling pkg and drawing creation. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Entry level Programming experience + Working level Electrical experience **Minimum Requirements:** + Technical/Business School Certificate, high school diploma, skilled trades apprenticeship, or GED + 1+ year(s) of HVAC experience _RSRCAR_ _LI-onsite_ **Pay Range:** $61,213 - $107,122 Annually **_Carrier is An Equal_** **_Opportunity/Affirmative_** **_Action Employer.
