The Field Process Engineer provides process engineering and technical support for the operation of Enterprise's plants and pipelines in the Houston region. The Engineer, under the direction of the Manager and more senior engineers, ensures that facility upgrades and changes are designed and constructed in accordance with the Company's Engineering guidelines and Specifications, Industry Codes Standards, and Regulatory Agency requirements while also meeting functionality and performance requirements. In addition, the Engineer will provide process designs which will contribute to cost saving enhancements that will significantly improve the efficiency and capacity of the plants and/or reduce the operational costs.
The Field Process Engineer will be assigned to specific production units and pipelines to provide support to Operations, Maintenance, Commercial, and Distribution. The Engineer will monitor the key performance indicators of the plant ensuring that it is operating efficiently and will provide technical expertise and scope developments for expansion and improvement projects at Mont Belvieu. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide technical support to the Company's Operations, Maintenance, and Commercial departments.Troubleshoot plant issues and develop recommended remediation plans and designs.Perform plant simulations to establish baselines, simulate modifications and estimate performance enhancements to existing plant facilities.Perform and check design calculations and equipment sizing.Perform Plant Optimization Studies (Surveillance) and monitor key performance indicators to determine if existing assets are performing to expectations.
