We are looking for a Engineer, Merchandise Product Technology to join our dynamic team at Foot Locker Inc. You will play a vital role in driving the continuous evolution and expansion of our programs and platforms. This position involves all aspects of configuring and extending a commercial Product Information Management (PIM) system, and design, building, and supporting adjacent custom on-premise and Cloud solutions. We seek a candidate passionate about solving business problems through maintainable solutions and continuous integration and delivery practices.
Responsibilities Act as a key technical contributor within an Agile delivery team focused on product master systems. Ensure Foot Locker’s PIM solutions are highly available, efficient, and performant.Optimize Foot Locker’s investments in SaaS, commercial, and custom PIM solutions. Support other Merchandising Engineering teams with integration and platform support.Advocate for infrastructure standards, frameworks, and tools to boost operational efficiency and team productivity.Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with a focus on test-driven development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex business challenges, recommend system and process upgrades, improve productivity, and foster collaboration. Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, operating, and maintaining infrastructure for high-volume enterprise web applications.Proficiency with CI/CD tools and experience in implementing deployment automation.Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and Git.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.Experience in extending commercial SaaS solutions, including familiarity with bulk data load, API enablement, asynchronous batch orchestration, UI configuration and extension, and similar concepts.Familiarity with data modeling, API-based pub/sub integration, performance engineering, and efficient error management.Experience enabling all aspects of a commercial SaaS solution, such as environment provisioning and management, initial data loads and refreshes, development and execution of test automation, API extension and enablement, and UI configuration.Experience with a commercial PIM solution such as Pimberly, Salsify, Stibo, or Riversand/Syndigo highly preferred.

This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
