Job description:

Purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Manager, Projects E&I the incumbent will manage and coordinate engineering and construction activities to ensure the project is executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Project Manager to implement and manage FQM's in house electrical and instrumentation construction capability on several projectsSupport E&I divisions on site with construction activities on capital projects globallyEnsure on time delivery of the E&I portion of projectsCo-ordinate, support and direct all team members during the construction phase of the projectVendor managementEnsure timely procurement and delivery of construction materialsAssist and develop project execution plans and manning forecastDeal with technical queries from site and vendorsLiaise with consultant design teamInspect & FAT of electrical equipmentAd hoc duties as assigned by ManagerCompile and forecast budgets for construction phase

Qualifications Required:

Electrical Engineering Degree5-10 years working experience, with site construction experienceConstruction experience in mining and process plant preferred
