JR71909 ENGINEER, WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENTAs a Workforce Development (WD) Engineer, you will be accountable for managing Front-end manufacturing related trainings. You are encouraged to use various resources to craft effective training and development programs. With growth mindset, you will continuously expand workforce development strategic proficiencies and strive for the best WD program execution. In this position, you will collaborate with customers to identify training opportunities. You will supervise the efficiency of training programs, find opportunity for improvement.
Responsibilities and Tasks:Adopt and collect the latest technology knowledge among Micron network to conduct training to new hires.
Integrate foreign hires to integrate into the team. Address specific needs that foreign team members may have.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify skill gaps, and build targeted training solutions.
Collaborate with partners to diagnose training materials to comprehend if any insufficiency and sync up with network for complemental materials or create internally.
Supervise and evaluate training program efficiency, make data-driven adjustments.
Mentor and support engineers in their career growth, promote continuous learning culture.
Trace trainings status.
Qualifications:System Operation: Proficient in training system, able to apply system to sustain routine training jobs that may include training schedule adjustment, create courses/programs, and training report.
Training Administration: Great understanding of training requirement. Able to adjust training timeline when needed.
Training Analysis:Comprehend the training roadmap by certain functional area. Analyze training loading across years and by GJS. Verify equivalent trainings and retrain training influence.
Skill Assessment: Proficiency in assessing skill gaps and identifying development needs. Ability to build personalized development plans for employees.
Proficient in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills
Program Management: Strong social skills to run workforce development programs, track progress, and measure outcomes.
Change Management: Understanding of change management principles to facilitate successful adoption of new learning initiatives.
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in the engineering section.
Familiarity with the latest industry trends and standard methodologies in workforce development and training.
