Engineer| Transport Planning - Traffic Engineer

You will work with broader technical project teams to support project and bid delivery through undertaking traffic engineering, traffic management and road engineering analysis, designs, and solutions for development and infrastructure projects in all stages of road design, from concept to detailed design and construction planning and including both temporary and permanent works.


The Opportunity

Check & ensure the quality and accuracy of ones own and potentially the work of others.  Furthermore, the role may be responsible for the development of others by providing guidance, training and feedback; Authoring non-standard letters, reports and other documentation may be required of this role from time to time; Represent your team or group at external meetings. The role may be involved in developing events, activities and internal projects of some complexity. Support the conduct of traffic engineering studies and traffic flow analysis, and contribute to the design of road geometry, signage, and pavement markings Collaborate with the team to assist in planning and designing transportation systems and infrastructure, gaining foundational knowledge in transportation planning and engineering.

Is this role right for you?

Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Transport or similar areas; Minimum 3-4 years of relevant industry experience in the field of transport engineering / traffic engineering particularly in undertaking traffic engineering, traffic management and road engineering analysis, designs, and solutions for development and infrastructure projects Knowledge and experience of all stages of road design, from concept to detailed design and construction planning and including both temporary and permanent works. Additional experience in road safety review studies is an advantage. Knowledge of Singapore regulations and approvals processes particularly those for the Land Transport Authority, Singapore (LTA), Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore (URA), National Parks Board, Singapore (NParks).
