**Job Summary**
Responsible for managing and maintaining the Configuration Management Database within an organization's IT infrastructure.
**Job Description**
**Core Responsibilities**
+ . Key responsibilities include:
+ CMDB Management: Maintain and update the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
+ Data Integration: Develop and manage data integration processes between the CMDB and other IT systems.
+ Technical Support: Provide support for IT operations, troubleshooting issues related to the CMDB and associated integrations.
+ Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance CMDB management efficiency.
+ Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for CMDB processes and workflows.
+ Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for CMDB management.
+ Data Quality: Monitor and audit CMDB activities, resolve discrepancies, and maintain data integrity.
+ User Support: Provide training and guidance to CMDB users and consumers.
+ Change Management: Review and approve changes affecting the CMDB and its data.
+ CI Management: Oversee the identification, verification, and maintenance of Configuration Items (CIs).
+ System Integration: Ensure strategic integration of asset management systems with other software platforms across the business.
+ Qualifications typically include a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, experience in SQL administration, ServiceNow and strong technical skills in data management and IT systems.
**Technical Skills**
+ Proficiency in ITAM software and tools
+ Understanding of IT hardware and software components
+ Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices
+ Familiarity with CMDB (Configuration Management Database) systems
+ Experience with software license management
