As a Safety Engineer, you will

Description:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLeads and promotes a SAFE First Culture\r\n\tAssures the facility follows safety and environmental programs, regulations, and company policy.\r\n\tPerforming job hazard analysis to identify loss potential of our systems and processes and recommending appropriate corrective actions.\r\n\tReview location standards, policies, and practices as necessary to assure they are current and in concert with company and / or regulatory requirements.\r\n\tMaintaining required records, preparing reports and files as necessary to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.\r\n\tConduct warehouse safety and environmental inspections.\r\n\tOrganize and coordinate emergency response.\r\n\tConduct ergonomics assessments and implement solutions.\r\n\tOrganize and lead the safety committee.\r\n\tLead job safety analysis and hazard assessment.\r\n\tCoordinate accident investigation and reporting.\r\n\tFacilitate ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.\r\n\tPromote a culture of zero incidents and strong value on our human resources.\r\n\tComplete monthly training on safety and environmental topics.\r\n\tEnsure compliance with environmental regulations and permit requirements..\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Requirements
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of ISO 14000 & OHSAS standards.\r\n\tTrain large groups of people.\r\n\tManage projects with on time delivery.\r\n\tMinor schedule flexibility\r\n\tKnowledge of OSHA, EPA, and OH DEP regulations.\r\n\tAccident investigation experience.\r\n\tFamiliar with job safety analysis process.\r\n\tlead and influence in a matrixed organization through developing good working relationships and holding others accountable.\r\n\tBachelor’s degree from accredited institution.\r\n\tMinimum 1-3 years’ experience in safety & environmental or engineering role.\r\n\tIntermediate working knowledge of Microsoft office and general databases/web-based applications.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Hours: 5pm-3am
\r\n\r\nDuration: 24+ Month Contract
\r\n\r\nLocation: Oxford, Ohio
\r\n\r\nPay Range: $35 /hr. to $40/hr.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
