Must be able to respond effectively to emergency situations including fire disruptions of above stated utilities or other emergency situations. Knowledge of: Title 22 Health and Safety Code JCAHO Standards and applicable regulations. Safety Codes and standards. + National Fire Protection Association codes and standards for Health Care. Have clear knowledge of Woodland Healthcare Policies and procedures. + Basic computer systems related to building control systems. + Computerized Preventive Maintenance System and Work order system. + Ability to: Interpret and use blue prints hospital and medical office buildings schematics and other technical drawings. + Prioritize work assignments. + Operate tools and machinery in a safe and effective manner utilizing safe work practices. + Perform duties within the scope of hospital policies and procedures. + Interact in a courteous energetic and resourceful manner. + Respond effectively to emergency situations. + Understand and operate environmental building control systems. **COMMUNICATION SKILLS:** + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. + Ability to writ routine reports and correspondence. + Ability to speak effectively before individuals or employees of organization. + Ability to perform basic computer skills needed to input and extract engineering work orders and other documentation. **PHYSICAL FACTORS:** + Physically able to walk stand stoop and lift. + Good manual dexterity.
