Job Details Division: Nucor Warehouse Systems Location: Monroe, GA, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: + Preparation of proposal layout, description, timeline, RFQs, specifications, project reports and budgets for capital and other large projects + Obtain, review, compare, and negotiate contractor and vendor quotes + Updating and creation of plant and equipment drawings + Work with operations teams to troubleshoot plant issues, interpret and explain drawings + Assist in root cause analysis, defining and documenting current processes for continuous improvement + Design of and improvement to small parts/equipment + Knowledge of current codes, regulations, and standards in various disciplines + Other duties as assigned [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: + Ability to accommodate occasional travel Preferred Qualifications: + +2 years experience in industrial controls, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or electro-mechanical engineering + Bachelors degree in electrical, mechatronics or electro-mechanical engineering + Possess fundamental control theory knowledge + Proficient with AutoCAD + Proficient with Microsoft Office + Project management experience + Experience with Siemens PLCs + Experience troubleshooting robotic/ automation equipment + New graduates are welcome to apply Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/Disabled/Vets and a drug free workplace
