Adecco Search is actively recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer in Duncanville, PA. Our client is a global manufacturing company that is growing. The Maufaturing Engineer will work on large scale projects and be responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for owning, evaluating, and optimizing current and new processes to drive efficiencies in production and lean tools. The Manufacturing Engineer will participate in new product development project and interface with other departments. **Job Duties for the Manufacturing Engineer in Duncanville, PA:** + Provides necessary support within the factory and department to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. + Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and implements timely sustainable solutions to maintain continuity of production flow. + Designs, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters. + Prepares design drawings, cost estimates, financial justification, and implementation schedules for production equipment and tooling. + Reviews and recommends changes to mechanical drawings and process documentation. + Reviews changes implemented by Design Engineers prior to final signoff. Recommends any needed changes. + Interfaces with vendors and outside sales personnel to evaluate, cost estimate, and select purchase parts and production equipment. + Leads, and participates on Improvement Workshops (Kaizens). + Develop, update, and maintain Bill of Materials, product routings, and cost structure information in ERP system. + Monitors and debugs production and test methods / procedures to ensure system efficiencies. + Interfaces with other manufacturing departments to address and resolve operational issues. + Assist in developing new members to the engineering teams on tasks/or tools they must be proficient in. **Job Requirements for the Manufacting Engineer in Ducanville, PA.** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, preferably Industrial, Mechanical or Electro-mechanical Engineering, or a comparable combination of training and experience. + At least two (2) years of specifically related experience required. + Knowledge and experience with lean tools and principles would be beneficial. + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. + Experience with Solidworks is a plus. **Additional Skills:** o GerbTool – Stencil Development and ordering and PCB layer design review. + Aegis – SMT machine assembly programs, work instruction. + SOLIDWORKS – Preferred for fixture / tooling development. + Stencil Printers + SMT (Surface Mount Technology) machines + Reflow Ovens + AOI Machines + Selective Solder + PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) Wash **Our client offers:** Health Care Dental 401K PTO and paid holidays Room for advancement If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply now to our Search Consutant, Lisa Capizzi at Lisa.Capizzi@Adeccona.com or call Lisa at 585-953-1649.
