Job Summary The Engineer Apprentice provides mechanical skilled trade support as assigned the Chief Engineer on property. Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS: + Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience. + Performs work under direct supervision. + Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. + Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: + Inspects and performs mechanical installation/maintenance/repair on systems as required. + Troubleshoots and addresses repairs and maintenance. + Orders and organizes parts supplies and equipment necessary to complete jobs effectively. + Supports and assists Chief Engineer with estimating and invoicing. + Documents the installation/maintenance/repairs performed and ensures accordance with procedure. + Operates power tools and may use chemicals that require safety training.
