Job Summary
Station Engineering is responsible for numerous tasks in support of Facility Ratings compliance requirements. The majority of these requirements relate to NERC Reliability Standards FAC-008-3 R6. The Facility Ratings Administrator role supports Station Engineering personnel in completing tasks that keep AEP compliant with FAC-008-3 R6 and supports leadership through oversight and reporting of data quality and schedule performance. The following are activities that will be performed:• Develop, test and maintain facility ratings processes. Processes may include those residing only within Station Engineering or may include cross organizational processes. Cross organizational processes may include interfaces with Transmission Planning, Construction Management, Transmission Field Services, Transmission Line Engineering, and Protection and Control Engineering, among others.
• Work with partner stakeholder groups to resolve facility ratings data integrity and error resolution related to asset naming, equipment ratings and other data base attributes.
• Support system owners in the development and maintenance of facility ratings systems. Systems may include but is not limited to: IPS Energy, AutoCad, and ServiceNow.
• Support development and maintenance of facility ratings documentation and training material.
• Train station engineering employees and contractors on facility ratings processes and applications. This includes but may not be limited to facility ratings and compliance asset data input, As-Built data maintenance, Location and Asset Forms, Attestation Packages and IPS facility ratings data troubleshooting, resolution and updates.
• Provide ongoing process and technical assistance to station engineering employees and contractors. This may include resolution of data error tracking efforts, larger scale data clean-up efforts, populating various application asset data documents and construction related attestation compliance documents.
• Coordinate facility ratings data input analysis and issue resolution across a multi-disciplinary team to ensure project deliverables meet compliance expectations.
• Perform proactive reporting and metrics analysis to support station engineering in complying with all required deliverables and schedule commitments.
