Responsibilities:
Carry out engineering design/calculation and documentation of building envelope (façade and roof) system design, including BD submissions in HK, DSSOPT submissions in Macau and expert panel review submissions in Mainland Supervise testing and construction (fabrication and installation) of building envelope systems Coordinate with internal and external parties on all building envelope related issues Provide professional and timely advices on all aspects of building envelope, including and not limited to design, performance, material, quality, maintenance, progress and costing issues Develop digital tools to enhance quality and efficiency of building envelope design Review submittals according to project specific contract requirements
Qualifications & Experience required:
Degree in Structural/Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Studies with practical experience in building envelope field At least 3 years of practical experience for the position of Engineer or Designer Experience in design and construction of building envelope systems. Knowledge of local practices in Hong Kong and China will be an advantage Proficient with engineering software packages (for Engineer), AutoCAD and 3D modelling software (for Designer) Knowledge on programming software or attaining of CCBC / CCBM qualifications will be an advantage Fluency in written and spoken English. Good command in written and spoken Chinese (Putonghua) is preferable
Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Engineer or Assistant Designer.
