Engineer Associate
**Engineer** We are looking for an Engineer to join our Lansing, NY team! As our Engineer, you will work in our non-met team at our IMR Test Lab performing high quality engineering projects and mechanical and material evaluations to meet customer expectations. A role with a good combination of testing and quality, you will be working with the engineering team to help develop and execute customer specific testing. **Location:** Lansing, NY (on-site) **Salary** **:** $60,000-65,000 _Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in New York. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer._ **We Take Care of Our People** Paid Time Off **I** 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing **I** Health and Wellness Benefits **I** Learning and Development Opportunities **I** Referral Program **I** Competitive Pay **I** Recognition **I** Employee Stock Purchase Plan (https://curtisswright.com/investor-relations/overview/default.aspx) **I** Inclusive & Supportive Culture (https://careers.curtisswright.com/en/who-we-are/) * **Your Challenge:** + Perform technical analysis in the non-met department, with a focus on quality assurance, R&D, material identification and failure analysis for industrial clients. + Organize projects for standardized testing and develop test plans, and schedules for special projects. + Conduct materials evaluations of non-metallic material, DMA, TMA, abrasion testing and various other testing. + Prepare and review reports to ensure quality. + Analyze samples using a variety of analytical techniques including the use of a broad spectrum of instrumentation and/or specialty area testing disciplines. + Train, monitor, and coordinate assigned activities of other laboratory personnel in the areas of test set up, sample preparation and date collection to ensure that IMR's quality and safety standards are met. + Review work, distribute incoming jobs, and assure work completion in a high quality and timely manner. + Interface with customers regularly to ensure that the highest level of customer satisfaction is maintained. + Interact with customers to understand and meet their needs and expectations.
