Job Description

Our Client Aeronautics Systems is looking for a STAFF Electrical Engineer to support the Circuit Design organization in San Diego, CA. In this role, you will provide leadership and mentoring while also contributing as an individual performer. Your responsibilities will include detailed electrical mixed circuit design, circuit level analysis, support for qualification testing, preparation of test procedures and reports, LabView design, and supporting hardware production and manufacturing. ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and mentoring within the Circuit Design organization.Perform detailed electrical mixed circuit design.Conduct circuit level analysis.Support qualification testing.Prepare test procedures and reports.Design using LabView.Support hardware production and manufacturing.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 12 years of relevant experience OR a master's in electrical engineering with 10 years of relevant experience.Experience with schematic capture and board layout using Altium Designer.Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mixed circuit CCAs.Experience with test equipment such as multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator, DC/AC power supplies, and network analyzer.Experience with design, development, and troubleshooting of NI LabView and NI TestStand.Familiarity with IPC and Military standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed circuit design.Experience using FPGA, CPLD, and microcontrollers.Experience with the development and design of automated test equipment.Experience with circuit simulation using PSPICE or MATLAB Simulink.Work Environment

Work in a collaborative and innovative environment in San Diego, CA. The role involves using advanced software such as Altium, PSPICE, LTSPICE, and MATLAB for circuit design and analysis. You will have access to a variety of test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DC/AC power supplies, and network analyzers. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $78.00
