Location
You will be based out of our Perth Office with site travel as required to various mine sites within WAIO as required by business demand. The roster is 5 days on, 2 days off, based in Perth (combination of office and WFH). Alternate rosters can be discussed on a flexible work arrangement.
About the Role
The primary purpose of the Electrical Engineer within I&S GTS Engineering is to manage and support the engineering function for developing, evaluating and auditing the engineering blueprints (i.e. Standards, Specifications, Risk Assessments etc.).
In this role you will ensure Electrical compliance with Australian Standards and legislative requirements as well as providing technical support to Infrastructure & Services on HV Transmission and Distribution Assets, and LV assets in Water Treatment plants, Camps, Villages, etc.
Reporting to Superintendent – I&S GTS Electrical, your key responsibilities includes:
You will have Electrical qualification - Tertiary or Tertiary + Trade with experience in HV/LV equipment in Transmission and Distribution which is highly desirable.
Your interpersonal skills will foster collaborative working relationships across various teams. In addition to demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse information, you will have the skills and knowledge to provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude.
