Roles and Responsibilities
As the Electrical Component Engineer, you will:
Manage hardware through the design process from initial concept through ground and flight testing with a focus on technology and manufacturing readiness.
Define supplier design efforts with respect to technology and manufacturing readiness.
Actively participate in internal and supplier design reviews.
Support engineering team members as required to ensure adherence to plans.
Work within a cross-functional team of design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to ensure the components and system meets the application needs.
Present technical and manufacturing readiness plans and status to internal and external stakeholders.
Interface with electrical, fluid, and controls engineers to ensure tasks are captured within the technology maturation needs.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
