Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The main missions of the role are:

Perform engineering assignments as part of design / project team for various projects assigned, following, and applying the systems and standards set by Faurecia and OEMs under the guidance of / Product Design Engineer.Uses appropriate software, to develop 3D models and drawings that meet engineering specifications.Follow the work instructions and work descriptions given by the product design engineer. Follow the set OEM standards and CAD methodology.Follow the systems and procedures of Faurecia - Only CAD / Design relatedComplete the assignment within the estimated time or before the decided delivery date as given by PDE.Ensure regular daily timesheet punching in SAP.To ensure the availability of information mentioned in the work order e.g., CAD data and relevant documents.Understand the work description and contact the product design engineer in case of any query.To fill up the checklist before delivery of the project & get it approved from /Product Design Engineer.To do self-inspection and take ownership of the work done – for all task related to complete seat investigations/Studies /Documentations/DMU management/ comparison & Kanban closure with ChecklistTo highlight issues to / Product Design Engineer and propose improvement ideas for continuous improvement on processes and systems.To ensure that all the specifications, Guidelines to follow and standard interfaces or templates. Ensure maximum usage of templates and macros.To adhere and respect shift schedule and timings.To plan leaves in advance with intimation to Design and Development Team Leader and Product Design Engineer.Respond to all training invitations and ensure 100% training attendance for all accepted trainings.To ensure flexibility and multi-tasking to work in different work groups and projects.To uphold & abide by code of ethics & Management.Awareness of QMS policy & Processes.Ensuring all work process & procedures are in align with QMS objectives & reporting any incident of deviation from QMS.Your profile and competencies to succeed

Title : Engineer - Engineering Performance
Reports to : Manager - Engineering Performance
Description:
(S)he is responsible globally for support of PMS tool within the Forvia program management system (PMS) process. Should be capable to study organization’s current systems and procedures and design information systems solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively. Should be able to analyze, design and implement information systems. Assess the suitability of the systems in terms of their intended outcomes and liaise with end users, software vendors and programmers in order to achieve these outcomes. Serve as change agents who identify the organizational improvements needed, design systems to implement those changes, and train and motivate others to use the systems. Define and author functional specifications as per the Faurecia program management system standards.
Qualification: Bachelors in Mechanical/Automobile / IT or Other equivalent engineering equivalent degree with good aggregate score
Experience:
o Looking for 0 to 4 years of relevant working experience on program management systems domain preferably in Automotive or other Mechanical Industry
Principal Accountability:
o Understand Project management Principles and methodologies
o Consult with Global Engineering team to determine the role of an IT system in the organization
o Devise ways to add new functionality to existing system
o Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization
o Organize and/or lead internal trainings, create the documentation if needed and measure effectiveness
o Ensure a functional support close to the key users
o Update reporting requirements for the key user network
o Test software upgrades for FIT to requirements
Software:
o Microsoft Project Server/Primavera/other relevant program Management tool
o MS-office applications

Other requirements:
o Must have international mind set, ability to work with international customers
o Should have the ability to present analysis results effectively
o On need basis, willing to travel to customer places, local or overseas
o Self driven and team oriented
o Valid passport
o English spoken and written communication
o Willing to add value through creativity & innovation
