Journeyman Engineer proficient in all engineering disciplines as listed:
Plumbing - Soft soldering, Sil Phis brazing, pipe threading machine, estimating, layout and fabrication of plumbing systems, cast iron pipe, steam and condensate systems
Welding - Steel, stainless steel and aluminum
Electrical - low and high voltage, conduit, troubleshooting
Refrigeration - low, medium and high epicentral and remote systems
Central Plant - chillers, pumps, air compressors and controls
Boiler Plant - steam production, hot water production, pumps and controls
Maintenance and repair of commercial kitchen equipment
Working knowledge of Sterol, Garland, Cleveland, Gore, Hobart, Cutler and Blodgett Kitchen Equipment
Education:
Completion and proof of technical training (QE-Qualified Employee), basic plumbing knowledge, boiler operator license, Level 3 or 4, or equivalent experience, basic electricity.
Experience:
Field experience –2 years, Commercial experience – 1 ½ years. Work experience on low voltage systems. Field experience in repair of kitchen equipment.
Abilities:
Basic computer literacy with ability to input and gather data. Ability to work in all climates and conditions including confined and dusty areas. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical specifications. Able to lift 75 lbs. Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity. Communicates effectively with two-way radio. Possess a valid Nevada driver's license.
