Engineer - Hotel

SUMMARY:
It is the responsibility of the Hotel Engineer to respond to calls throughout the property; troubleshoot and repair the items as needed. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Must be knowledgeable is all aspects of Hotel Operations Maintenance. Must have at least two years experience in plumbing – toilet repair and replacement, faucet repair and replacement, and snaking drains. Two years electrical experience, rewiring lamps, outlets and smoke alarms. Maintain lighting in rooms and hallways as needed. Having working knowledge in HVAC, locks, televisions, and electronic safes.Must be personable and clean in appearance and good working with the public. Willing to work on call for emergencies, holidays and weekends. Perform other duties as requested. Must be willing to work holidays and all shifts and days off are to be determined.Respond to fire alarmsCommunicate on a two way radio.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Related degree preferred or accredited certification2 years experienceMinimum age requirement is 21
