How You'll Help Us Connect the World

 

Lead the Implementation and compliance with the Health and Safety Management System.

Provides support and advice in Risk Assessment, Legal requirements, follow EHS Objectives and lead Programs implementation on the site.

Plan Health and Safety training, Communication, and document control.

Verify Health and Safety Measurement and monitoring, Incident investigation, corrective actions plan.

Maintain documentation to present to local, state or federal authorities.

Compliment to local regulation in safety and industrial hygiene matter.

Incident investigation and recommend corrective action.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Accident Investigation, root cause analysis, control implementation and responses to Authorities.

• Implementation and coordination of Safety Program per Mexican, American and Corporate Regulation.

• Attention to Third Party Audits (Corporate, Government).

• Develop audits program and implement corporate global standards.

• Coordination of Environmental, Health and Safety Studies.

• Review the plans or specifications of introduction of machinery and equipment to assess occupational risks and deliver safe process to normal production.

• Implement and coordinate Ergonomic program

• Coordinate health and safety committee

• Coordinate behavior observation process

• Understanding, implementing and communicating global EHS standards and the CommScope EHS Management System to appropriate facility and operations personnel.

• Managing the site’s EHS Management System for the facility and operations.

• Defining roles and allocating responsibilities and accountabilities to facilitate the effective implementation of the EHS Management System.

• Working with site management to ensure compliance with EHS standards.

• Ensuring employees, management, supervisors, etc. are properly trained on their roles and responsibilities for EHS Management.

• Evaluating compliance to this Standard.

• Communicating to site management if resources are inadequate.

Related Education & Experience

 

• Industrial Engineering or career related to engineering

• 3 years’ experience on a similar position

• Extensive knowledge in environmental regulation

• Software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project.

• Personnel management

• 85% English
