This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to world-class projects and drive impactful results within a dynamic environment. **A Day in the Life:** + Address and report problems in daily manufacturing and propose effective countermeasures. + Complete projects as assigned and acquire high-quality results. + Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to drive continuous improvement. + Revise SOPs to enhance processes, improve readability, and minimize the risk of deviations. + Proactively identify areas for opportunity and drive efficient results. + Execute manufacturing protocols accurately and with limited supervision. + Become a process owner; provide training and technical leadership within the specialized area. + Perform duties within the corporate EH&S Standards. + Adhere to ISO13485 guidelines and the Thermo Fisher quality policy. + Interact effectively in a cross functional setting. + Use highly specialized equipment and instrumentation. + Responsible for the completion of all tasks assigned daily (working O/T may be required). **Keys to Success:** **Education** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field/science (preferably Chemical Engineering), preferred. + High school diploma or equivalent required. **Experience** + At least 1 year of Chemical, Operations, Manufacturing, or regulated environment experience required. + Experience with SAP or similar inventory control systems is desired. **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities** + Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. + Ability to prioritize assignments and manage multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. + Adept at using specialized manufacturing equipment and instrumentation. + Proven ability to train and lead within a specialized area. + Strong communication and leadership skills. + Technical and operational expertise. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team. + Proven problem-solving capabilities. + Strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality guidelines. **Physical Requirements / Work Environment** + Must be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds. + Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with potential exposure to various chemicals. + Must be able to stand for extended periods. **Benefits** We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
