Job Description

Purpose of the Position/Responsibilities:

We are seeking ambitious IT enthusiasts who are eager to dive into multiple critical projects. As an IT System Engineer, you will interact daily with various internal groups and establish yourself as a proven team member within our site for IT matters.

Assignments, Specific/Primary Activities:

Collaborate with global and local IT, OT, Engineering Teams, and vendors to efficiently review and resolve system issues, minimizing business impact and maintaining system availability and reliability.

Work closely with the CIS team to deploy new infrastructure solutions that meet both business and technology needs.

Contribute to post-implementation support of short- and long-term manufacturing and automation projects to successfully implement solutions that meet business and technology needs.

Assist in the site implementation, maintenance, and support of GxP OU, SCADA, HMI, Industrial PC, data historian, RAFT, DCS systems with IT/OT partners and contractors.

Analyze existing systems, identify gaps, issues, and opportunities for improvement, propose process enhancements, and develop and deliver system solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity.

Work closely with business and local CIS to assess and propose process, system, hardware, and software upgrades to improve efficiency, security, and overall business well-being.

Collaborate with Quality and CSV teams to maintain, generate, review, approve, and control departmental documentation such as SC, IQ, system reports, user requirements, and guidelines.

Requirements:

Master or bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science

Minimum 3+ years’ experience with Windows / VMware / Storage administration / Network. 

Windows Server administration 

VxRail & vSAN administrator 

Storage & backup administration 

Windows Power Shell

Experience working in cloud systems and virtual machine environments 

Understanding of provisioning and hypervisor platforms like VMWare to deploy virtual servers. 

Creative problem solving skills that require minimum supervisory prompting​

Good communication skills both written and oral, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal in English (need to involve regional / global team for support & project) 

Ownership of tasks and projects with 100% follow through to completion. 

Ability to follow process and create process where there is none.
