The Engineer I, Aerospace Design role is responsible for completing tasks in the design, analysis, qualification, introduction, and support phases of the product lifecycle.  Provided through a structured program of rotational assignments, you will build a sound foundational knowledge of Aerospace design process, toolsets, and skills that you can further hone and specialize in, through your developing career.

This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Global Engineering Services team within the Pall Aerospace Technology Organisation of over 100 Scientists, Engineers, and Technicians.  The Global Engineering Services Team support the product delivery teams though the provision of technical expertise, compliance, systems, standard process, and design services, to ensure right first-time design and continuous improvement of skills and performance.  It will be based in New Port Richey, Tampa on an onsite basis.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Use engineering tools including CATIA for 3D modelling and drafting, and analysis tools for fluid flow calculations, and basic stress calculations.Progress projects through requirements capture and qualification, supporting testing and validation activities where applicable and in conjunction with the Systems team.Utilize and master tools from the Danaher Business System lean toolset to drive continuous improvement in product and process and coach and mentor others.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field (Mechanical, General, Aerospace, Electronic, Product Design, etc). Experienced in spreadsheet analysis, report writing.Experienced in 3D solid modelling software applications.  Proficient in engineering drawing and tolerancing.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

ANSYS tools for simulationCATIA v5 3D modelling softwareWorking for an engineering business as part of a placement or post graduate role

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel: <5 % travel, overnight, nationally or internationally.Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.
