While reporting to the Technical Manager, the following job description outlines the essential functions of an Engineer I. The following lists are not all inclusive, and an Engineer I is expected to assume all assigned duties.   

What you’ll be doing:

Design electrical schematics using AutoCAD Software or equivalentDevelop electrical enclosure panel layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent computer softwareTesting and debug of electrical control circuitsAbility to integrate various inkjet, laser, or robotic systems is a plusProgramming of machine control components consisting of A-B PLC’s, HMI’s, and othersManage multiple projectsAssist in machine manual development & quoting needsExperience programming other types of PLC’s (ex. Omron) and HMI’s is a plusWork and communicate effectively with other groups within all departmentsPerform final machinery check-offs to verify all systems functionalityHelp customer support through phone support to answer technical questions, support during machinery factory acceptance visits, and other issuesProvide technical assistance as requiredCommunicate effectively to department managers regarding project progress, achieving goals, and customer expectations

This position is located in Chillicothe, MO and 100% onsite

Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experienceAbility to work with minimum supervisionFamiliarity with electronic test instrumentationAbility to read/write and follow verbal and written instructionsExperience designing, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment with electro-mechanical components; example: relays, motor starters, temperature controllers, etc.Proficient computer skills in file processing, email, Web navigation, and MS officeHealthy attitude to work within a team environmentOne year (Experience through co-ops and/or internships is acceptable)

Compensation: 

The annual base salary range for this role is from $67,040 to $75,420.
