Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Engineer I to join a large ship building company in Marinette WI. They will be sitting on the design team focused on piping work. They will be responsible for navigating and reading models, doing audits for the vendor information so they can do tasking for products that are derived from functional and detail design. They will reconcile customer comments and conflicts against models and drawings by submitting comments to the government. Their tasks will change day to day but they can be doing detail one day , functional another day, and model checks the next day. Skills and Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's Degree (4 Year Degree) in field of competence (or equivalent) or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of equivalent experience. * 2 years of experience of increasing responsibility in the engineering field of competence. * Supervisory experience desired. * Shipbuilding/maritime background- IF NOT SHIPBUILDING, ANY CONSTRUCTION DESIGN LIKE CIVIL ENGINEERING, BUILDLING DESIGN, PLANT DESIGN would work. * Experience using Ship Constructor null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
