Join our world-class team today! **Position Specific Description** **Specific job duties for this role include the following:** • Perform transmission planning studies and analysis to ensure a reliable and cost-effective transmission system across FPL. • Support continued customer growth, increased demand loads, new solar generation projects and transition to zero-carbon future. • Prepare PSSE planning models and cases for analysis to support regional and compliance requirements. • Support Generator Interconnection studies • Exhibit sound technical, leadership and communication skills as well as excellent understanding of power flows on the transmission system. • Collaborate across transmission teams, Grid Transformation, Technical Services, Advance Applications, Project Management and other departments. • Participate and support regional FRCC technical committees • Attend and support industry conferences • Knowledge of PSSE and/or TARA is highly preferred. **Job Overview** Employees in this role apply diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to broad variety of assignments and related fields.
