Engineer I - VOS

Job Summary: 

Candidate will own and drive tasks for Factory Automation business unit locations to fulfill Engineering Project execution through Creo, PLM per Factory Automation Standard Practices & Procedures.

 In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Complete Engineer to Order Production Orders. Review Customer specifications / inputs and identify scope. Support product engineering initiatives. Support various global multi-functional departments remotely. Responsible for achieving Quality & OTD commitments. Foster and maintain positive relationships with local and distributed team members.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Good knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Fluid flow systems. Proficient in 3D modeling, Assembly, Tubing and 2D drafting standards in Solid Edge. Hands-on experience on Engineering Calculations to verify the design. Experience in Creating manufacturing drawings, General Arrangement Drawing, Schematic, Wiring Drawings and Bill of Materials. Good application Knowledge of GD&T and Tolerance stack-up. Good understanding of engineering materials, castings, weld design, fabrication, Sheetmetal and standard manufacturing processes. Decisive, drive and ability to deliver effective and innovative solutions. Fluent with Microsoft Office Tools. Excellent analytical skills and results oriented. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills. Experience in mechanical testing will be added advantage. Experience on Team Centre and Oracle preferred. Good working knowledge of ASTM, ASME, ANSI, API, ISO & other standards related to Oil and Gas industry. Experience in documentation for certifications (e.g. PED, ATEX) Basic understanding of engineering simulation software (e.g. ANSYS) is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering with 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, industrial equipment. (Actuators, valves, gearboxes, boilers, other pressure equipment or special purpose machine). Good Experience in CAD / PLM / ERP Tools (Solid Edge, Team Centre, Enovia, Oracle).
