Reports to Manufacturing - Regional Senior Director.

What you'll be doing:

Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processesConduct process simulations and modeling to evaluate efficiency and performanceDevelop and implement process control strategies to ensure product consistency and qualityCollaborate with Global Technology to support the development of new products and technologiesIdentify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions as neededMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulationsPrepare technical documentation, including process flows, specifications, and reportsResponsible for managing, planning, and tracking the execution of assigned projects, capital projects, and productivity projects in their respective regionProvides required training to plant personnel after completion of projectMaintain close contact with Regional Field Engineer and others to efficiently coordinate jobs and utilize available manpowerGood communications skills both oral and written, including computers skills such as Excel, Word and Power PointTravel is required, 50-75%, to CPP branch plants, machinery builders, and customer locations as required by project assignments.

The ideal candidate for this position will be located in Dallas, TX or Tulsa, OK.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering is a plus3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the paper or packaging industryStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and lean principlesStrong mechanical aptitude and skills, such as fabrication, machining, assembly, troubleshooting and repair.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong communications skills both oral and written, including computers skills such as Excel, Word and Power PointExperience with AutoCad and or Solidworks for plant layout and details drawingsExperience with MS Project, working with Gantt charts, developing timelines, milestones, and deadlinesStrong safety record to promote safety in all aspects of employmentExercises good judgment / decision-making and presents a commitment to high standards and the ability to inspire those qualities in othersLeadership - provides mentoring, training and supervision to maintenance and plant personnel in project workEager to learn and apply new skills and as such, identifies training needs and skills required to stay up to date with new technologyAbility to work alone with limited supervision

Compensation: 

The annual base salary range for this role is from $100,560 to $113,130, plus annual target bonus of 7.5% of base salary.
