Engineers at Seemann Composites have the latitude to work in resource focused groups and product teams. Our Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), typically include Engineering, Program Management, Quality, Logistics, and Production. Seemann Composites has an opening for an Engineer III at our facility in Gulfport, MS. The work will include interfacing with other engineers, and IPT members toward accomplishing the project objective. Typical duties of an Engineer III include product development and ownership, tooling development, and manufacturing support supervision. The primary CAD tool is SolidWorks for both modeling and drawing development; experience with this software tool is certainly a plus.Opportunities for career advancement include Technical Ownership, Product Ownership, Engineering Management, and Program Management paths. Job Requirements: + Typically has 5 to 10 years of experience performing similar duties + Bachelor of Science in Composites, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Chemical, Aerospace, or other related engineering degree, such as Naval Architecture + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) + United States Citizenship or Green Card Status is required + Product Owner of several projects + Author manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, white papers, monthly reports, etc. without input from supervisor + Design Parts and Fixtures without input from supervisor + May be a Subject Matter Expert in a few areas of the production process + May help Produces proposals, schedules, budgets and other programmatic deliverables + IPT lead of small or medium size project + Responsible for day-to-day tasking of self + Regularly interfaces with customers and subcontractors + Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance + Proof of US Citizenship and/or authorized to work in the US.
