This position is involved in the practical application of engineering principles to design infrastructure for site or commercial and residential land development projects. 

Responsibilities Assist a Project Manager in the production of project plans, specifications and cost estimatesDevelop feasible design alternatives and compare significant parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements and costIdentify and analyze the principle design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and needUse computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documentsPrepare written technical reports and engineering studies using approved company formatDirect production work of technicians #LI-JR1 Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in civil or agricultural engineering from an ABET accredited college or university4 years' experience in civil design -  site, commercial and/or residential designFamiliar with engineering principles, techniques, and proceduresExperience using computer aided design techniquesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agenciesWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office SuiteEffective communication skills, both oral and writtenMust be able to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with occasional overtimeMust be reliable and dependable
