Network Engineer, Transport NOC- Fault Management

Deliverables: 

24*7 support for Mobility & Tele-media network outages

 

 

Coordinating with customer for outage restoration Maintaining TT resolution SLA close to 90% Ensure to have proper resolution and update on TTs Traffic rerouting during critical outages Pro-active Network improvement action identification & Implementation Documentations of SOP / Knowledge base and learnings Work / coordinate with vendors on complex customer issues Vendor management - Vendor RCA analysis and E2E Closure

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication/Computer Engineering or equivalent

Skill Required:

Must have very strong knowledge & working experience with Huawei, Ciena, Nokia Optical network product lines and technologies High skill level on NMS Handling for SDH (ECI+Tejas)  / Packet (ECI + Ciena) / Optical (Nokia, Huawei, Ciena) / ASON and Legacy (Nokia).  Understanding of  Packet Network (ECI & Ciena) Good knowledge of L2 level technology In-depth understanding and Hands on experience on MCLAG, POI, VPLS, PW, Tunnel / LSP functionality  Good working knowledge of QOS/HQOS, HSRP / VRRP, VLAN's, Ether-Channel) VPN L2 & L3 solutions. Provisioning of Ethernet link, ODU & SDH link In-depth understanding of SDH network and all protocols & solution running in SDH .i.e. MSP, SNCP, MSSP, IOP Understanding of Alarm flow in SDH network (LO / HO) & Optical Network Understanding of Alarm flow in packet network (LO / HO) Good communication skill and customer centric approach Hands-on experience on handling tools like BMC Remedy, ECRM, Netcool, MRTG etc

 

Relevant Experience: 

Minimum 3-6 years of experience in SDH / Packet / Optical network operations with large scale and complex networks. 

Candidate must possess a high-level of technical expertise, have strong organizational skills and be able to learn and define technical processes and procedures.
