In this role, you will work in a team environment, the ideal candidate will have the ability to take ownership of challenging problems, drive them to a solution, and provide leadership for implementing the solution. It is critical that you understand the various aspects of the entire development life cycle of complex DoD aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with internal business partners to gather requirements, develop prototype models, and architect solutions in support of various System of Systems activities in a fast-paced Science and Technology Mission Engineering-focused environment. Support specific areas in the full life cycle of engineering development, to include requirements development, modeling and simulation, verification and validation (V&V) activities, etc.Analyze both simulated and live flight data results and metrics to assess overall mission effectiveness associated with current and future operational capability improvements.Apply technical expertise in solving complex integration challenges. Basic Qualifications (Base):
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the CompanyMust have general knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating SystemsMust have basic level programming skills in MATLABBasic Qualifications (Principal):
