Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking a Systems ngineer in support of the Strike Programs in our Chandler, AZ office.
The selected candidate will join the Systems Engineering team in developing the Strike Product Line and executing relevant demonstration missions. In this role a candidate can expect to work cross functionally with several IPTs to decompose top level system requirements into component level specifications while executing mission planning and system testing activities

Ownership of requirements decomposition process and systems engineering work product related to assigned IPT
Mission Management
This position maybe offered at the Engineer Systems Level 2 or maybe offered at the Principal Engineer Systems Level 3.
Basic Qualifications:
If offered at the Engineer Systems level 2 requires:
BS in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years related experience, master’s degree with 0 years of related experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Strong oral and written communication skill
If offered at the Principal Engineer Systems Level 3 requires:
BS in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years related experience, master’s degree with 3 years of related experience or PhD with 1 year of experience.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Strong oral and written communication skill
Preferred Qualifications:
A strong experienced-based and academic foundation in Systems Engineering fundamentals
OCSMP Level 1 or Level 2 Certification
Experience with RD&E Weapon System Development
Experience with IBM DOORS
Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00Salary Range 2: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
