Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced CMM Automation and Metrology Engineer to provide global support for our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) systems. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, programming, troubleshooting, and automating CMM systems across multiple regions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both metrology and automation, with the ability to offer technical support, training, and solutions across various global sites and customers

Key Responsibilities:

Global CMM Programming & Automation:

Develop and implement CMM programs and automation solutions to ensure consistent quality and efficiency across global operations.
 Integrate and configure CMM machines in different global facilities, ensuring that programs and measurements adhere to company and industry standards.
 Support and collaborate with local teams in programming and automating systems for specific regional needs.
 Metrolog programming knowledge.
 

Collaboration with Global Teams:

Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams from multiple regions to improve metrology processes and implement automation solutions.
 Communicate regularly with regional engineering and production teams to monitor CMM performance and automate processes for increased efficiency.
 

Continuous Improvement:

Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives across global teams to increase the accuracy, efficiency, and uptime of CMM and automation systems.
 Stay up to date on industry advancements in CMM technologies and automation to proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
 

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of experience with CMM programming, automation, and metrology in a global manufacturing or quality control environment.
 

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with CMM software (DMIS, Calypso, Metrolog, etc.) and CMM automation technologies.
 Strong understanding of metrology principles and applications, including experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
 Familiarity with robotics and automation integration in CMM systems.
 

Soft Skills:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear reporting and training across global teams.
 Ability to manage multiple support cases and projects simultaneously.
 Problem-solving mindset and ability to think strategically for long-term improvements.
 Other Skills:Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
 Good English communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
 Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Certification in Metrology is a plus.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAM Engineer with expertise in NX CAM, Vericut, CAPP and TDM systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in metal cutting and CAM programming, with at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in the industry. Knowledge of C and Java programming languages will be considered an added advantage.

Key Performance areas:

Develop and optimize CNC machining programs using NX CAM for various metal cutting operations.Simulate and verify machining processes using Vericut software to ensure toolpath accuracy and collision-free operations.Manage and utilize the TDM system for tool data management and ensure the correct selection of cutting tools and tool assemblies.Utilize CAPP (Computer-Aided Process Planning) for process planning and improving manufacturing workflows.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to design and improve machining strategies to increase efficiency and reduce cycle time.Analyse and resolve machining issues, improving overall process reliability and quality.Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of CAM processes and technologies.Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on CAM-related processes.Work closely with quality control teams to ensure adherence to product specifications and tolerance requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CAM programming, tool management, and system integration.Metrolog programming knowledge.

Global Engineering Support:

Collaborate with global PU’s to provide engineering support and share technical expertise on CAM programming and machining strategies.Ensure alignment and consistency in machining processes and standards across global manufacturing sites.Participate in cross-functional teams and support PDP Projects.Provide remote support and troubleshooting for global machining operations.
 

Your Profile:

Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in metal cutting and CAM programming.
 Software Skills:Proficiency in NX CAM for CNC programming.Hands-on experience with Vericut for CNC simulation and verification.Familiarity with TDM (Tool Data Management) systems.
 Other Skills:Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.Good English communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Education:
