Engineer Project Coordinator
As an Engineering Project Coordinator here at Honeywell, you will provide high-level project and administrative support to our team. You will be responsible for raising requisitions for indirect purchases in SAP and/or iValua Compass, running and distributing reports, Overtime reporting for Exempt employees, assist with Americas Honeywell User Group event planning, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling confidential information. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our team. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our team by providing exceptional support to the Americas leaders of the Projects & Automation Solutions(PAS) team. Your ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities will contribute to the success of our team. This position is overtime eligible. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Requisitioning for indirect purchasing/ordering using in-house software to process information into SAP and/or iValua Compass · Generate Goods Receipts in SAP upon invoice receipt to ensure on time payments · Partner with Finance to Run SAP BI Report and update Forecast vs. Month to Date and cascade daily from approx. 15th of the month until month close. · Assist with coordination and planning of Annual Americas Honeywell User Group event including registration, customer dinners, meeting rooms, catering as directed/needed. · Order departmental supplies, equipment and tools as required via purchase requisition forms, electronic forms and/or PCard · Acting as site support for various activities associated with customers, operations, and business leaders as needed · Preparing, maintaining, distributing, and filing various site records, correspondence and reports, and procedures · Verification of US Employment Eligibility for new and existing employees as needed via the I9 Administration process using E-Verify · Providing superior administrative support to leaders, enabling them to make most of their time · Coordinating day-to-day site activities (meetings, catering, travel, office equipment, document control) · Participating in business process and site operations improvement initiatives · Managing ad hoc projects and requests for the site and business U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. YOU MUST HAVE · High School Diploma/GED · 5+ years of experience as an administrative assistant, business support specialist, or procurement support specialist WE VALUE · Basic SAP purchasing experience · Associate degree preferred · Excellent computer literacy in Microsoft (Office, Outlook, Teams) programs · Ability to juggle many priorities and competing demands easily and effectively · Individuals who are self-motivated and do things before being asked by others · Desire to learn new systems, tools, and processes ABOUT HONEYWELL Honeywell International Inc.
