We are currently seeking an Engineering Support Specialist II to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between internal departments, external partners, and engineering leadership. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives, such as the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) and 5S activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nCollaborate with engineering staff, subcontractors, and Honeywell personnel to project coordination and resolve operational bottlenecks.\nRequisition, track, and manage purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while addressing open POs and clearing outdated requests. Analyze and maintain data related to project controls, including organizing large datasets in spreadsheets and generating actionable insights.\nPrepare and enhance presentations for leadership meetings and large-scale events, such as Town Hall meetings.\nCoordinate and manage calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements, including visas and passports.\nAssist visitors with accommodations and provide support for department logistics.\nTrack and resolve invoicing issues and disputes with Accounts Receivable.\nFacilitate HOS and 5S activities, driving efficiency through lean processes and value stream mapping.\nUpdate and manage the safety calendar monthly.\nProcess expense reports, maintain invoices, and handle mail and urgent communication logistics.\nLiaise between departments, including Marketing, QA, and Approvals.\nAct as the emergency communication point during drills or medical emergencies.\nManage indirect purchases, ensuring compliance with operational budgets and Opex guidelines.\n\n

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

\n

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

\n

 

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n5+ years of experience managing SAP for requisitions, purchase orders, and expense tracking.\n5+ years of experience coordinating complex travel plans, including visas and passports.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nExperience managing calendar coordination, departmental logistics, and visitor accommodations.\n\n
