Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Engineer Systems Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
In this role, you will work with the Chief Engineer and Systems Engineering lead to design architecture solutions supporting Open Mission System (OMS) and Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) Standards development as well as developing solutions to integrate existing programs intending to adopt the OMS and UCI Standards.

The candidate should have a firm understanding of traditional systems engineering concepts and methodologies and must be able to apply and adjust these concepts and methodologies to an accelerated process in the early stages of the engineering design. The candidate should be familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), be able to work within an agile environment, and be an “out of the box” thinker.
Key Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experienceMust have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the companyMust have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the companyPreferred Qualifications:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
